Introduction
Mars is a computer for your AI agents. It keeps your local computer's resources free, lets you run multiple agents & allows you to keep your agents running even when your local computer is turned off.
By default, each Mars Machine is a Linux machine with security rules configured so that only you can access it. Mars native Network Sync is still under development, so we recommend setting up a tailnet with Tailscale to create a private network between your local computer and your Mars Machines.
The Mars Desktop client is only available on Mac, although Web, Windows, Linux and mobile versions are being developed.
Mars is intentionally barebones at the machine layer. You can customize the machine as needed. Common use cases may become templates over time to make future machine usage faster.
We also have plans to provide individuals and teams with open-source tools that make our infrastructure easier to use. The first project in that direction is an in-company coding agent. More is available in the Lab.
